Cookie policy
A plain-English explanation of every cookie we set on this site, why it exists, and how you can change your mind.
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember a piece of information between page loads or visits. This page describes the cookies set by optiqra.pro and how you can control them.
1. Categories of cookies we use
1.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to work. They store your cookie preference itself, your session identifier (so a contact form can use CSRF protection), and your accessibility preferences. They cannot be switched off.
- cc_cookie — stores your cookie consent choice for twelve months.
- PHPSESSID — session cookie that expires when you close your browser; required for the contact form CSRF protection.
1.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies, if you accept them, allow us to measure aggregate traffic on the site so we can prioritise improvements. They are anonymised and never used to identify you personally.
1.3 Marketing cookies
If you accept marketing cookies, we may from time to time measure the response to campaigns we run. We do not use marketing cookies to build profiles or sell data.
2. Third-party cookies
The cookie consent banner is provided by the open-source CookieConsent library (orestbida/cookieconsent), loaded from jsDelivr CDN. Loading the library file from a CDN may result in your IP address being logged by the CDN provider. We do not use the library to set any tracking cookies of its own.
3. How to change your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the small "Cookie settings" handle that appears in the bottom corner of every page, or by clearing your browser's cookies for this site (which will cause the banner to appear again on your next visit).
4. Browser-level controls
Most browsers let you block cookies entirely, or block them for specific sites, or warn you each time a site tries to set one. The exact controls are different in each browser; the help section of your browser will explain how. Note that blocking cookies entirely may stop the contact form from working.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where it is sent by the browser. When GPC is detected, we treat the visitor as having declined non-essential cookies and do not load analytics or marketing scripts.
6. Updates
We update this page if we add or remove cookies. The current version was published on 12 April 2026.
